“A source...sorceress…
Imbued with magic.
Colors—light reflectors
of the past to the present.
Manifesting the future in full moon-ness.
Drawing the unknown yet knowing…
Seeing the unseen-
untouched by the illusion.
Recreating in indigo, magenta, lapis lazuli…
all experiences.
Conjuring colors—visions...streaming...
steaming, dampness.
New fallen rain, whirring dragonflies
ebbing, flowing tides…
Africa to South Carolina
gleaming ...
slave holding sands.
Luminous pearls of sweat...
cooled by Honeysuckle/wisteria breezes
Strung on Indian silk threads
laced tears and visions...
Of ancestor dreams...
Reflections of the heart...
Inspirations every moment
Imagination ... dream... reality
Crystallized strokes of color
telling the journey ...
birth to death.
Finite to infinite…
No surface left uncolored
Until it is washed clear
